Summer Student Recital - Saturday, June 7th at Central United Methodist
Our summer recital is fast approaching! We have divided the recital into 3 sessions. Please note the time that your teacher has circled as that is the time that you will be playing in. If you need an accompanist, make sure you sign up at the desk soon for a time to rehearse with her. Admission to all recitals is free.

Time: 1:00 PM 2:00 PM 3:00 PM (check with your teacher which time you are scheduled)

Directions: (from the music school) Take Hammer to Pacific and head south on Pacific about 3 miles. After March, go over the overpass towards UOP and turn Left on Fulton Street. Turn left into the church parking lot and look for our school sign on the sidewalk.

Accompanist Schedule - Student Recital
If you are performing and need an accompanist for the upcoming music recital, you need to sign-up for a time right away at the front desk. Our school accompanist is excellent and has accompanied everyone from beginner level students to advanced. Normally, for a rehearsal and the event, an accompanist would charge you at least $50. The rate she charges is $20. This includes a 15-minute rehearsal here at the school and her coming to the recital to play for you. To sign-up for a rehearsal you must provide us with a copy of your music and the $20 accompaniment fee. Rehearsals are here at the music school on Thursday, June 5th and will be available between the hours of 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Please sign-up right away so we can assure you a spot.

Summer Classes
The school of music will be open for lessons from July 7th through August 2nd. We will be offering private lessons for piano, guitar and voice. This summer, we are also offering a group guitar music camp "Guitar Heroes". There are 3 different levels for guitar students ages 7 & up. Each camp is limited to 8 guitar students, so register early before the slots fill up. Call the school office during our normal hours to register for this class.

Preferential Pre-Registration - Saturday, May 3rd
Our special pre-registration for our existing students is Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This will be the first date that the fall lesson times are available. After this date, we will open up registration to the general public. As you know, we have been very full this year and we anticipate to be even more full next year. To secure a time for the fall, it is recommended that you register on this date. Times are given out on a first-come first-served basis. If you can’t make this date, starting Monday, May 5th, you may register at the desk during our normal office hours. Registration for the general public will start Monday, May 12th.
